Ryan Lambie is a writer and editor from Northamptonshire, UK. He’s been writing about film, TV and video games since 2007.
From 2010 to 2018, he was Deputy Editor of Den Of Geek UK (www.denofgeek.com).
In November 2018, Ryan launched Wireframe magazine for Raspberry Pi, a fortnightly and later monthly video game publication which he edited for 70 issues until its closure in January 2023.
From February 2023, Ryan edited the gaming website www.whynowgaming.com for UK media company whynow.
In September 2023, he moved over to Film Stories (www.filmstories.co.uk), where he currently serves as online editor.
Ryan has also written freelance features for the likes of The Guardian, The Mirror, The Escapist, Games TM, Bizarre, Nintendo Life, The Big Issue, Retro Gamer and Micro Mart.
In 2018, Ryan published his first book, The Geek’s Guide To SF Cinema. He’s also co wrote Movie Geek: The Den Of Geek Guide To The Movieverse (pub. Cassell, 2017), TV Geek: The Den Of Geek Guide For The Netflix Generation (pub. Cassell, 2018), and contributed to The Art Of The Box (Bitmap Books, 2023).
In 2013, he was handed a Blogger Of The Year award at the Richard Attenborough UK Regional Film Awards.
